Choose the right level of automation.
A semi-automatic ATEX filling machine may reduce conveyor and indexing scope, but the operator task, handling aids and sustained capacity still have a cost. An automatic filler adds controls and handling but may be justified by repetitive work, output or line integration.

Can an ATEX filling machine be priced from fill volume alone?
No. Fill volume is only one input. Product properties, area classification, dosing method, materials, controls, extraction interfaces, pack handling, documentation and testing can materially change the project scope.
Why do two ATEX filling quotations differ so much?
They may include different boundaries, protection concepts, line equipment, documentation, installation, FAT conditions or assumptions. Compare the intended use and exclusions line by line before comparing the total.
Does more automation always increase the total cost?
Automation normally adds handling and controls, but operator labour, safety, handling aids, changeover and future capacity also matter. A lower initial equipment scope may not be the lowest lifecycle cost.
Are site works included in the machine price?
Only if expressly stated. Power, air, extraction, drainage, foundations, fire controls, room works, access and installation responsibilities should be listed in an interface schedule.
How can a buyer receive a firmer quotation?
Provide a controlled specification, current SDS, classification information, real packs, required output, layout, utilities, cleaning method, documentation needs and agreed test criteria. Resolve open assumptions before order where possible.
